I really dont want to share these tricks which are not in the rule books because if you master them, you may be one step ahead of me. But I am doing this for all the sales guys out there who are in need.

Trick 1 : Find out the local happenings, news, movies and interesting things that may help you in cool chit-chats over the phone. (eg) Before you end the call (or) when ever you think it safe; say this." Hey. Did you see Hankock? I am about to take my kids to the movie. How is it anyway?

Trick 2 : Before you finish the call; try to talk about what happened over the phone and what are the next steps. (eg) " So, you want me to show you some samples and if you like them, we will go for a trial and take things from there."

Trick 3 : When you call some one and they say " hi ", Dont say the same old " Hey, This is Ganesh. How are you ? " Say some thing different, be unique ! (eg) Use your imagination.........

Trick 4 : When you finish a call say some thing decent like " Nice Talking, Will speak to you soon, Take care and so on......" When you say bye, make it unique with your own trade-mark slang"

Trick 5 : Have a voice wich sounds professionally cool....

Hey guys. I am feeling strange and frustrated because a lot of things happened in my personal life. Since i work in the night; I don't eat good, sleep well in the day and am isolated from my family and friends throughout the week. I dont get time to work out in the Gym, watch T.V and to do all the cool things i wanted to do in my life.

Even being a guy who see things in a wider perspective, i cant help it. It began showing traces in the way i spoke to my prospects. I dint know what to do? Then i heard some voice say " I dont bring my office to my home & my home to office." from deep in my subconscious mind which gave me the answer.

So from the next day; I never brought my home and personal things come across in to my office. It's working Soo far soo Good for me and i hope the same for any of us with the same trouble!


I spoke to a very good prospect today. We are to start the work for him in a week (or) two. He picked the phone and I told " hi " and started speaking to him. He may have been dizzy, I dint know that. His voice was lame and he spoke for the sake of speaking. Hearing him speak like that made my voice go down even before i knew it coming.

I felt soo bad. Then my instinct made me to talk with all the charm I got. Then he felt relaxed hearing me speak and he too started showing interest and it was a warm conversation. So if you come across these sort of mood swings, dont let it take you down. Believe me " It Works ".

Way to Success...!


Breaking the barriers and getting business for the company is the core deal. No matter the limitations are high and the possibilities are low. Many of the sales guys begin their business call with a mentality full of possibilities. They will be trying hard to sell without knowing - what to sell?…our attitude or the service? You can sell your service only to the person who needs it. However, selling attitude could gain you many more prospects.

After getting some business deals, guys lose control over their attitude. They start reacting like a boss. Keep in your mind, after every successful deal, you are nothing and there is a lot to go. Need to work on your attitude once again and should release the proud feeling. That’s again a way to success.

Chasing and spending too much time with a prospect and wasting time irrelevantly could collapse a sound business deal. Time management, talking to the point, precise commitment and keeping a prospect in a comfort zone, are the well known tips for a sound deal.

LUCK won’t be sitting next to us for every single deal.

Still there is a lot to learn and prove….


This is for all the sales guys out there. If you want to know to where you stand in sales and how you perform, you may want to take a look into this. If you are someone who cant bring in a client or a shopper who is already interested, you are not fit for the job. If you come across a guy who wants to debate about what ever you are trying to sell and you end up 50 % sucessfull with most of the debates, you are an average sales guy.

If you can make some one think about what you talk or sell to him, then you are basically a good sales guy. And finally if you can make a guy from " Not interested to Interested "; you are a Pro each company has to offer.

After rating yourself, dont forget to give all your calls the best you got. "Keep winning or Dare loosing"
